What You'll Walk Away With

This isn't another technical class. It's the missing piece — the health-literacy foundation that lets you understand what's showing up in your client's hair and skin, and know what to actually say about it.

  • Recognize the 5 Pattern Buckets — hormones, medications, nutrition, stress, and more — that consistently show up behind the chair
  • Ask more useful questions without diagnosing or stepping outside your scope
  • Make more informed product, service, and consultation decisions
  • Recognize when a concern may belong with an appropriate healthcare professional

Designed as a focused foundation, not another overwhelming course. All in about 20 minutes.

A Focused 20-Minute Workshop

No fluff, no filler — just the health-literacy foundation every hairstylist needs, delivered in one sitting you can finish on a lunch break.

The 5 Pattern Buckets Framework

Learn the internal factors — hormones, medications, nutrition, stress, and more — that consistently show up behind the chair, plus a simple framework for addressing what you notice, right there — without ever stepping outside your scope as a stylist.

Your Health-Informed Stylist Toolkit

Take the framework straight to the chair with practical tools you can reference before, during, and after consultations — a consultation guide, a framework summary, a scope and referral card, and your Certificate of Completion.

Who This Is For

This workshop is for hairstylists and barbers who already notice that health, lifestyle, and internal changes can affect what they see behind the chair — and want a practical way to respond without overstepping their scope.

It's for you if:

  • You hear clients mention hormones, medications, stress, weight changes, sleep, or recovery — and wonder how that fits into the consultation
  • You want to ask better questions and make more informed recommendations instead of guessing
  • You want practical health knowledge you can use behind the chair, without becoming a healthcare provider
  • You want stronger professional judgment and more confident client conversations

This is a foundations workshop, so no prior health background is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to look at your clients a little differently.

Why Tracy

Tracy Rado has spent 30+ years behind the chair as a licensed cosmetologist and salon owner. She also holds a B.S. in Public Health from Stockton University, with a concentration in Health Education and a minor in Holistic Health.

She created The Health-Informed Stylist to bridge that health knowledge with real-world beauty practice, without asking beauty professionals to become healthcare providers. The goal is simple: help you recognize what you're already seeing behind the chair, and know what to do with it.

You already notice the patterns. Now learn what to do with them.

Join The Health-Informed Stylist and become the one your clients trust with more than just their hair.
